Review

I am a huge fan of betrothed and I was  lucky enough to be receive a  ARC  of Allegiance by Wanda Wiltshire.

After finishing Betrothed  i was very excited to find out what would happen next and  Allegiance does not disappoint.

Starts were Betrothed  left off, Allegiance see Marla back home with her human family and friends. As she to come to terms with her decision to leave Faera, her family and the love of her life.
Marla  tries to settle back into the life she knew before leif but she knew that this was never going to be easy.

Just as she starts to return to some kind of human existence her world is turned upside down.

There is so much that I would like to say about Allegiance but I don't want to give anything away.

Wanda has truly create a beautiful and idealistic world that you will instantly be drawn into. With characters you will love and others that you will love to hate.

The twist and turns will have you turning pages and say 'just one more chapter'. But once you start Allegiance you will be hooked until the end. Not to mention that will leave you counting down the days until the next book on the beautiful series Flys onto our shelf.

You will love

if you love carrie jones Need series then you are going to love Wanda Wiltshire betrothed series.

Both series follow two strong female leads, who learn that there is more to there world then they ever imagined existed.

Need by Carrie Jones remains one of my  most loved series. It introduced me to the world of pixies and to the ledgends of Valhalla. If you have read this then put this series on your to read pile.

Betrothed by Wanda Wiltshire is the first book in this series and from the moment I started to read it I was hooked. The use of imagery is so strong and clear that I you feel like you are part of the story.  Book 2 comes out in July and I for one can not wait to see what happens next.

Synopsis

The highly anticipated sequel to Dinner with a Vampire

Autumn Rose has the chance to save the world she loves. But how much will she have to sacrifice to achieve it?

In Autumn Rose, book two of her breathtaking series, Abigail Gibbs draws us even further into the dangerous and romantic world of the Dark Heroines.

Review

One of my favourite books from last year was Abigail Gibb's, The Dark Heroine: Dinner with a Vampire. Needless to say when i saw Autumn Rose at sydney air port  i couldnt wait to find out what happens next.

In Autumn Rose we are introduced to a new dimension and characters. Our leading lady Autumn wants nothing more then to be a normal teenager after the death of her grandmother like any teenager Autumn has to deal with bullies, parent dramas balancing work and school. The only difference is that Autumn is not human she is a sage which comes with its only set of issues.

Even when an old friend pops back into her world. A friend that she is less then impressed to see turn up. As it brings up things that she has tried hard to bury deep inside.

making everything worse there are dark secrets that are being kept from her. Secrets that she can no longer ignore.

Everything in this book happens parallel to the time stamp of The Dark Heroine but in a different dimension and involving a completely different set of characters. Though throughout the story you get glimpses of the characters and story line from dark heroine. It isn't until towards the end that the story.

I'm such a big fan of Abigail Gibbs and the dark heroine series.I was hooked from the first page. I loved it and can't wait to find out what happens next.
