Review

This is the second book by Jennifer L Armentrout that I have read and I have to say she is slowly becoming a favourite of mine.

In Wicked we meet Ivy . Ivy  isn’t your average 22 year old student. She, and others like her are hunters. Her duty to the Order is her life after a horrible tragedy caused her to loss everything at the hands of the creatures she is sworn to hunt.

Ren is new to the order and the last person Ivy expected to enter her life.   Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy and Ren to deny.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets. There’s something Ren is not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man she is falling for.

Ivy  is strong independent and intelligent character. How doesn't need anyone to save her. 

I also love Tink!  Through he wasnt in the story a lot, the parts he was  in are very good. He is full of spunk.

The paranormal elements are neat and I love the action they bring to the story. It will be very interesting to see how this story will progress in the next book.

The plot takes some fun turns, although at times they me be a little predictable.

Wicked is a hot romance set in a world where supernatural creatures exist, and the lovers must put their lives on the line to keep the world safe.

If you are a fan of True Blood  then this may be the perfect book for you.
